An alternative orthodoxy

In our journey to challenge ourselves in our faith we can sometimes court criticism by association. This makes me sad.

We need to be allowed to  and be given permission to explore the sea of faith we are floating on. Being an Independent Congregational chapel it is surprising how denominational it can feel. Even by association you find you carry a label and are hemmed in by expectations; we are for example considered to be a Brownian foundation! I am not sure the farmers of Essex knew this but they certainly loved Jesus.

So let’s be daring; Rob Bell and Richard Rhor in one podcast! I am putting my breastplate on and helmet for safety after having written the risk assessment.
