These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens … the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. … The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, … what is man that you are mindful of him? Psalm 8

This Morning we looked at the creation of man and how we can be thought of as image-bearers of God and what that means to us today. We are told that Jesus went about doing good & healing the sick, whereas his contemporaries were often judgemental. Who do we resemble? Perhaps we should focus on looking after each other and our wonderful planet.
