The founding gift of grace of the new Chapel community in Takeley is one of centredness and togetherness, centered in the conviction that the light of Christ shines in all: the mystical conviction that Christ is universal, and inspiration comes through quiet, waiting in stillness and being together.
We turn away from religious forms that disempower and that curate access to God: we turn from holding ritual, position and tradition sacred.
This is a legacy from the community that moved here. We gathered from a shared conviction that the voice of Christ speaks to, in and through all to consumate the world as being good; to complete creation through each and everyone.
You will hear and be heard.
